SHAWNEE, KANSAS – Shawnee dentist Dr. Alberto Castaneda recently introduced The Dental Button to his Shawnee dentistry practice.
The Dental Button is a device that sort of puts the patient in charge of their procedure by giving them the ability to stop the dentist’s drill during a procedure simply by pressing a handheld button.
“We get patients occasionally who suffer from anxiety when they come to the dentist, either because they fear pain or because they’ve had a negative experience elsewhere in the past,” said Castaneda, a Shawnee general dentist who has used The Dental Button in his practice since December with great results.
